From fields to flight: The journey of Dr. Loy Julius to the professor’s podium
On June 6, 1944—D-Day—a young pilot named Loy Julius guided his aircraft across perilous skies, unaware that his courage that day would echo through history. Decades later, he became a beloved professor in the Creighton University School of Dentistry. Now, his name will inspire future generations through an endowed scholarship.
Empowering future nurses: The Dondanville Family Scholarship
Heider College of Business graduate Joe Dondanville and his wife, Joany, have established a scholarship in Creighton’s College of Nursing. Driven by a deep admiration for the critical role nurses play, their scholarship aims to ease financial stress and empower dedicated students to fully immerse themselves in their calling.

On Oct. 22, some of Creighton's brightest undergraduate researchers will showcase their summer work at the annual 2024 Ferlic Fellows Poster Presentation.

The annual G. Robert Muchemore Foundation Luncheon celebrates the transformative power of scholarships at Creighton University. Thanks to the Foundation's generous support, Bob and Bo Muchemore's legacies live on while empowering students to reach their fullest potential. To date, 134 law and 251 undergraduate scholarships have been awarded to Creighton students.
