The Translational Hearing Center at Creighton University was renamed to honor alumnus and pioneering surgeon Richard J. Bellucci, MD, in an on-campus ceremony. It will now be known as the Dr. Richard J. Bellucci Translational Hearing Center.

Rob Woodling, BSBA'99, wanted to create an organization that focused on serving others, impacting communities around him and involved aspects of Jesuit values he was so inspired by thanks to Creighton. Michaela Sims, JD'96, has come a long way in her 17-year-long lobbying career. In this time, she has gone from crashing on a friend's couch to running two of her own lobbying firms in Washington D.C., one of which she still manages. Sims has also been an integral part, as program director, of Creighton’s Government Organization and Leadership (GOAL) program for over a decade.
