In September, about 100 Creighton alumni, friends, faculty, staff and community leaders — including Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen and Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert — celebrated the opening of the CL and Rachel Werner Center.
A few days before 400 freshman students moved into Graves Hall, a few hundred alumni, faculty, staff and friends joined Creighton leadership and the families of the project's lead donors for a grand opening.

On May 5, lead donors, community leaders and Creighton University representatives formally dedicated one of the most pivotal campus transformations in decades — Keough Plaza, Haddix Circle and Physicians Mutual Crossing at 24th Street.
On Wednesday, April 6, alumni, friends, parents, students, faculty and staff came together to make a massive collective impact for Creighton, with more than 2,700 donors giving a total of more than $927,000.
