Creighton alumna Pamela L. Turner, MS'99, was a selfless and loving woman who improved the lives of everyone she touched. An inspiration to all who knew her, she lived a life that celebrated God's gifts — in herself and in others.

When she passed away in 2012 after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer, Pamela's husband, Paul D. Turner, MS'86, established the Pamela L. Turner Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund, which supports students enrolled in the College of Nursing.

The scholarship carries on the legacy of an extraordinary woman and nurse, who transformed lives not only through her clinical excellence but her caring spirit.

Pamela truly embodied Jesuit values through her longtime community service, including her role as President of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, her work with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and her active roles in other professional organizations.

Pamela worked as the Director of Nursing at Quality Living Inc. and later as a nurse practitioner in neurology, specializing in headaches and migraines.
