Social work graduates' suicide prevention resource goes nationwide

Avery Steer, BSW'24, and Precious Nakamoto, BSW'24, addressed suicide prevention during their senior practicum at Children's Nebraska, creating a safety planning brochure recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (COQIPS). Now distributed in pediatric emergency departments nationwide, their work reflects Creighton’s commitment to compassionate care.
