Black Alumni Reception

The Venue at the Highlander

Enjoy food, drinks and fellowship at a special Creighton gathering during Native Omaha Days!

Looking to engage with your fellow Black alumni? Come enjoy food, drinks and fellowship at the Black Alumni Reception during Native Omaha Days!

This will be an excellent chance to catch up with alumni and a great opportunity to speak with members of the National Black Alumni Advisory Board, as well as Sarah Walker, PhD, Interim Vice Provost for Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, and Creighton Provost Mardell A. Wilson, EdD.

Creighton’s first Black Alumni Reception took place in 2019. Those who were there remember: It was a joyous event. The gathering will continue to take place alongside Native Omaha Days, the bi-annual event celebrating the history, culture and community of North Omaha.

This will be the first gathering since the creation of the National Black Alumni Advisory Board, comprised of more than a dozen members and formed to promote Creighton’s larger mission of diversity and inclusion for the entire community.

Free baseball cap included with attendance.

We can’t wait to see you at the reception!
