Building Connections

The 2023–2024 academic year will go down as one of the most constructive in Creighton's history. The Omaha campus hasn’t seen such a transformation in decades.

Donor-funded buildings and other campus renovations mark both a historic period of growth and countless opportunities for our students to grow in mind, body and spirit. A new residence for first-year students, Graves Hall, opened its doors in August. Meanwhile, the CL and Rachel Werner Center for Health Sciences Education, a new home for the School of Medicine and the Creighton Health Sciences, is training the next generation of healthcare providers.

Other projects recently completed or underway include the Simpson Family Courtyard, the removal of Becker Hall, and renovations to the St. John’s fountain and plaza, the exterior of McGloin Residence Hall and the Skutt Student Center. Additionally, the new Jérôme Nadal, SJ, Jesuit Residence and Our Lady of Montserrat Chapel will open in 2024.
