The Heider Family Foundation is offering a sweet token of appreciation to Creighton faculty and staff.
All faculty and staff members are encouraged to pick up a free Kookaburra Cookie on the following days (while supplies last):
- Tuesday, September 20 – Hixson-Lied Atrium, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Monday, September 26 – Keough Plaza, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Monday, October 3 – Harper Center, Room, 2060, 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Kookaburra Cookies is owned and operated by Creighton’s Eli Vedral, a student-athlete on the Bluejay cross country team who is double-majoring in graphic design and filmmaking. In June, the Omaha-World-Herald wrote about how the Creighton Global Scholars program inspired Vedral’s entrepreneurship.
