LOVING WORDS

Valentine’s Day is nearly here and, these days, whom amongst us couldn’t use a few heartfelt words of sentiment? Or at least some chocolates? Candy hearts? Please?

In any case, we hope you and your special someones are, to the best of your ability, enjoying a month of warm, fuzzy feelings. In honor of the impending holiday, we’re taking a look at sentiments past.

Many messages were heartwarming. Some were weird. A few should not be repeated.

We collected dozens of them from the ’70s, ‘80s and ’90s Creightonian classifieds. We redacted names when they were too specific. We nixed any messages with even the slightest whiff of innuendo.
