Photo Gallery: The demolition of Kiewit Hall

The building will fall, but our memories will last forever.

By the time Creighton is bustling again with students starting their 2024-25 school year in August, the campus skyline will be missing one of its towering residence halls. Kiewit Hall is coming down.

Brick by brick. Quite literally, actually.

The demolition began in May. It will continue throughout the summer.

Kiewit Hall's memory will live on, and we made our best effort to immortalize the building's legacy by chronicling its history and highlighting alumni's meaningful moments. Alumni shared more memories on our Facebook page.

Keep tabs on the demolition progress by checking out the photo slideshow below. We will update this page with new images as the summer progresses.
