Creighton celebrates groundbreaking for new baseball and softball fields
Several local dignitaries joined Creighton campus leaders on Wednesday, June 11, for a ceremonial first "dig" on the site of a new baseball practice field. A new softball stadium and competition field is already under construction next door. Both fields will serve student-athletes and be available to students, youth sports teams and future College World Series participants.
