Founders Week Family Event: Live Radio Theatre Matinee and Kids Workshop

Rigge Science Building

Join us to activate your imagination and enjoy the brilliance of sound at a family-friendly Founders Week event on Saturday, Feb. 7.

Creighton College of Arts and Sciences students and faculty are teaming up with Radio Theatre Omaha for a live, audio-only show that celebrates the legacy and impact of Edward and John Creighton. “The Dusty, Lusty West Wants for the Telegraph,” is a 45-minute drama told through voices, sound effects and music.

There’s also a special kids-focused workshop an hour before the show! Participants ages 5-12 will receive a hands-on glimpse of the science behind acoustic storytelling and may even earn a role in the day’s live performance ($5 per child/max $20 per family).
A reception will take place after the show.
