Reunion Weekend — Letters to the classes of 1970, 1980 and 1995
Reunion Weekend — Letters to the classes of 1970, 1980 and 1995

Bluejays, we're sorry to say it, but we have postponed this year's Reunion Weekend for the health and safety of our alumni and friends. We will now combine our reunion celebrations for 2020 and 2021 into next year’s event, taking place June 3-6, 2021. (You can learn more here.) We're very sorry that we won't get to see you on campus this spring.

This winter, we wrote a trio of letters to classes celebrating milestone years — 1970, 1980 and 1995 — each letter offering photos of the class and dives into the news and pop culture of their time at Creighton.

The purpose of the letters, at least initially, was to tap into that feathery, blue-hued emotion we know as Creighton nostalgia so that we might persuade our milestone-celebrating alumni and friends to attend Reunion Weekend. And, well, plans have changed.

Let these letters now serve as a way for our alumni to enjoy some memories as we wait for Creighton — and the rest of the country — to reopen.

We miss you. We can't wait to meet again. We hope you and your family are doing well and staying safe.

(Note: We got the bulk of our images from Blue Jay yearbooks. So, if we're not highlighting your milestone year this year, be sure to check out our yearbook collection here.)
