Admissions 101 Workshop

Mike and Josie Harper Center, Undergraduate Admissions Office

An interactive workshop and Q&A about the undergraduate admissions process. Learn more about the current incoming class of Bluejays and about your role in recruitment.


9–11 a.m.

School of Dentistry Alumni Open House Tours

School of Dentistry Building | 2109 Cuming St.

Enjoy coffee, donuts and a tour of the new building.


9:30 a.m.

Yoga and Mimosas in the Jesuit Gardens

Take in the morning views during a yoga class followed by pastries and mimosas. We encourage you to bring a yoga mat. Suitable for all levels.


10–10:45 a.m.

Backpack Journalism—Journalism and Justice at Creighton

Mike and Josie Harper Center, Hixson-Lied Auditorium

Presented by Carol Zuegner, PhD, chair of the journalism department, and John O’Keefe, PhD, professor of theology.

Walking Campus Tours

Departing on the hour from the fountain in front of St. John’s Church.

Alumni for Others 

Mike and Josie Harper Center, 2nd-Floor Atrium

Take part in a service project for the Siena/Francis House by assembling hygiene kits for community members in need. Items requested (travel-size): shampoo, soap, razors, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste. Representatives from Siena/Francis and the Schlegel Center for Service and Justice will discuss their partnership and how they assist Omaha’s marginalized.


11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Tour of the Ruth Scott Training Center

702 N. Florence Blvd.

Go inside the new training center for Creighton volleyball and women’s basketball.


NOON–2 p.m.

School of Law Self-Guided Building Tour

Ahmanson Law Center

Tour the School of Law and see our recent updates.


NOON–2 p.m.

School of Medicine CHI Health Academic Medical Center Tour

The Bluejay Shuttle departs at 12:10 p.m. from the Mike and Josie Harper Center. The tour will conclude with refreshments and a Q&A with Bo Dunlay, MD’81, dean of the School of Medicine.

The shuttle returns to campus at 2 p.m.


NOON–4 p.m.

Hilltop Jam

Skinner Mall

Enjoy food and family fun on the Mall, featuring:

  • Live music
  • Kid-friendly activities: balloon artist, face painter, bounce house and Lego area, magic show at noon, animal encounters at 1 p.m.
  • Food trucks with food for purchase
  • Ice cream social at 3 p.m.
  • Beer garden

3–6 p.m.

School of Pharmacy and Health Professions Beer Garden and Open House

Boyne Building, 1st floor and Adjacent Parking Area

Tour the newly renovated skills lab and see demonstrations in rehabilitation sciences research. Attendees in the beer garden will receive keepsake glasses; complimentary refreshments in Boyne. School update with Interim Dean Amy Wilson, PharmD, at 4 p.m.


3–4:30 p.m.

Legacy Lounge for Legacy Students and Families

V.J. and Angela Skutt Student Center, Room 104

Legacy Bluejays and their families are invited to attend a reception in gratitude for your generations of support for Creighton.


5 p.m.

Memorial Mass with Marriage Blessing

St. John’s Church

A memorial Mass for the Rev. Richard Hauser, SJ, a longtime Creighton Jesuit, and a celebration and blessing of married couples.


6–8 p.m.

Current and Past Members of the National Alumni Board Cocktail Reception

Mike and Josie Harper Center, Fitzgerald Boardroom

Enjoy hosted drinks and appetizers with other members of the National Alumni Board.

Enjoy hosted drinks and appetizers with other past members of the Creighton Students Union and the Student Board of Governors.


7:30–10 p.m.

Music and Fireworks at Morrison

Michael G. Morrison, SJ, Stadium

Bring your blankets and chairs and head to the stadium for an evening of music under the stars. Enjoy fireworks at the end of the night. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
