Creighton to Participate in Public Health Program

The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) and the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AACU) has selected Creighton University to participate in its Undergraduate Curriculum Development Institute, July 14-15, in Crystal City, Va. The institute is designed to help educators integrate public health education into the undergraduate curriculum.

Creighton Hereditary Cancer Expert Receives IMPACT Award

Henry T. Lynch, M.D., of Creighton University, a pioneer in the field hereditary breast cancer, will receive the National Consortium of Breast Centers IMPACT award at the group's annual meeting in March in Las Vegas.

Ashford Joins Creighton's Werner Institute

State Sen. Brad Ashford of Omaha has joined the Werner Institute for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution as a senior fellow and chair of the newly organized Public Issues Collaboration Initiative (PIC), Creighton law professor and Werner Institute Director Arthur Pearlstein announced today.
