Mass of the Holy Spirit: A Call to Dream
Creighton University celebrated its annual Mass of the Holy Spirit on Sept. 8. The celebration is a tradition among Jesuit universities, as a way to call upon the Holy Spirit at the beginning of the academic year for grace, guidance, wisdom and knowledge. "The spirit of God is present here as we begin a new academic year," said Creighton President the Rev. John P. Schlegel, S.J., who presided over the Mass.
