Students Give Generously During Move-Out

Rates Set to Increase on Student Loans

Study Abroad Fair Set for September





Is your student considering studying abroad? Don't miss Creighton's annual Study Abroad Fair this fall, Sept. 23. Students can meet with representatives from programs worldwide and ask questions of past Creighton study-abroad participants.



Students Encouraged to Review Plans





Now that the 2012-2013 academic year is complete, it is a good time for students to review their career and academic plans. Creighton's Career Center, in collaboration with the Creighton EDGE, offers a "to-do" list to help students get the most out of their college experience and prepare them for the future. Helping Students with Financial Literacy





Loan debt is a reality for many students in today's higher education environment. Creighton's Financial Aid Office can provide information and resources to help students manage their student loan obligation. In fact, the office offers educational support on a wide range of financial matters, from developing a personal budget to financing higher education. Learn more.



Creighton Earns Green Recognition





Creighton is one of the 322 most environmentally responsible colleges in the U.S. and Canada, according to The Princeton Review's "Guide to 322 Green Colleges." Creighton is the only college listed from Nebraska. Read more.



CU Hosts Annual Volunteer Fair





Students can learn about service and volunteer opportunities at Creighton's annual Service and Justice Volunteer Fair on Aug. 28. CU Prof Named Business Woman of the Year





Beverly Kracher, Ph.D., the Robert B. Daugherty Endowed Chair in Business Ethics and Society at Creighton, was named the 2013 Business Woman of the Year by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce at its annual luncheon May 20. Read more.



Creighton Residence Halls Recognized





The residents of Swanson Hall were presented a “Good Neighbor” Award by the Siena/Francis House, a homeless shelter in downtown Omaha. The students were recognized for their hard work and dedication in serving the shelter as a community partner. McGloin Hall, meanwhile, was ranked one of the top 10 dorms in the country.



Request Immunization Records Online





Immunization records from Student Health Services can now be requested online. Students can use their NEST accounts under "Immunization Tracker," "Request Immunization Record." Student Health Services processes requests daily, Monday through Friday, and can send the records via e-mail, fax or U.S. mail.
