Dear Alumni and Friends, As 2012 draws to a close, I want to take this time to thank you for all you do for Creighton University and the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. At Creighton, we are blessed with committed, dedicated and generous alumni, students, faculty, staff and supporters, who live out the Creighton mission in their professions and daily lives. We are truly grateful for your efforts. With the holidays upon us, I would like to share a brief video greeting and wish you and your family all the blessings of this holy season. While we reflect with pride on the accomplishments of 2012, we look forward with anticipation to 2013. I am excited about Creighton's search for a provost, a new position at our institution, and I look forward to serving as the interim Vice President for Academic Affairs during this process. I am also grateful to Victoria Roche for accepting the position of acting dean for the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. We both plan to return to our permanent positions by July 2013. We welcome alumnae Meghan Schlattmann and Julie O’Connell Petersen as new members of the School's Alumni Advisory Board. We are grateful that they have agreed to share their time and talent with us. This Friday, Dec. 14, we will celebrate the OTD Class of 2012 in our first joint Graduation and Hooding Ceremony. Congratulations! And we will soon begin our 100-day countdown until graduation for our Pharm.D. and DPT Classes of 2013. Lastly, let me extend an invitation to our alumni to participate in our new "Tomorrow's Alumni" program. Who better to help us recruit the next generation of outstanding Creighton pharmacists, occupational therapists and physical therapists than our current alumni! Thank you, again, for all you do for Creighton. Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year. With warm regards,
