2011: a Year in pictures

2011 was a year of milestones at Creighton University. The University bid farewell to retiring president John P. Schlegel, S.J., and welcomed its first alumnus to serve as president in Timothy R. Lannon, S.J. The Creighton baseball team played its first game at T.D. Ameritrade Park Omaha. Creighton inaugurated new endowed chairs and embraced a freshman class with an academic profile that placed Creighton among the top-10 private universities in the Midwest. As the year closed, the men's soccer team's thrilling run at a national title fell just short in the College Cup.
