Students Spend Spring Break Providing Service
A total of 218 students traveled to 27 sites around the country performing community service as part of Creighton University's 29th annual Spring Break Service Trips, March 7-11. Stay Up to Date with Financial Aid
With the financial aid award season under way, Creighton's Financial Aid Office reminds parents and students to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible. Getting this information to the Financial Aid Office ensures your family the utmost consideration for all forms of federal and institutional aid. The Financial Aid Office also encourages parents and students to check the NEST website on at least a weekly basis to stay current on financial aid related updates and any needed documents. (Check with your student for access to the NEST.) Students will receive an e-mail notifying them of any financial aid awards. They then must visit the NEST to review and accept any awards.

The award is affectionately named after St. Ignatius, founder of the Jesuit religious order. "We wanted freshmen to have the opportunity to identify a primary Creighton person who helped them through the initial freshmen adjustments," said Mary Higgins, assistant vice president for student retention.
