Friday, March 8

9 a.m. - Noon
“Bird is the Word/Halfway to Alumni Homecoming Weekend” Pregame Gathering
Hyatt Regency, 2nd Floor, Regency Ballroom
Join the Creighton Alumni Association and the St. Louis band, The Rhythm Rockers for the greatest gathering of Bluejay fans! It’s also time to start thinking about Alumni Homecoming Weekend 2013 as MVC marks the halfway point! Stop by to pick up your official Alumni Association MVC giveaways – a koozie and beads (until supplies last, must provide contact information to receive giveaways).

Sing the fight song with the Creighton Band, catch giveaways from the “Blue Crew” and cheer the team on as they make their way through the lobby on their way to the game!

Should the Jays proceed to Saturday play, join fans for the following events.

It’s time once again for us to wish good luck to the team and cheer them on!

St. Louis Alumni Club Postgame Party
3:30 p.m. (immediately following the game) if the Jays play.
7 – 8 p.m. If the Jays do NOT participate in Saturday play.

Join members of the Creighton St. Louis Alumni Club at Sundecker’s for a postgame drink to hopefully celebrate a Bluejay win and to network with one another in the city of St. Louis!

Join the Alumni Association, Creighton Pep Band, Blue Crew and Dance Team to cheer on the Jays as they prepare to take the title of Missouri Valley Conference Tournament champion!

MVC Photo Contest –Show Your #MagnumOpus Spirit

Think you’re Creighton basketball’s biggest fan? Is it part of your M.O…your #MagnumOpus? We want you to show us. Help Creighton focus on its greatness. This March, as our men and women’s teams square off in the MVC tournaments, we’ll be hosting an MVC Spirit Photo Contest for our fans. Anytime you attend a game, celebration, or event at the MVC men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, snap a picture, upload it to Instagram, and tag it with #gojays. We’ll upload the photos to the University’s Facebook page and choose the one that best shows Creighton spirit. Winners will receive a Creighton T-shirt.

2013 MVC Challenge – Are you game?

As the Creighton men’s and women’s basketball teams work toward their goal of a Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship, YOU can help your fellow alumni meet the MVC Challenge goal of 500 gifts to the Creighton Fund from recent alumni. Blue Crew is cheering on all members of the classes of 1995 to 2012 to reach the goal by March 17!

Check the MVC Challenge website, giving.creighton.edu/MVC2013, often for updates, new videos and to monitor Billy’s progress as we move closer to meeting the MVC Challenge goal!
