NEW AWARD TO RECOGNIZE DISTINGUISHED EDUCATORS
Creighton President Timothy R. Lannon, S.J., has announced a new award, the Distinguished Educator in Teaching as Scholarship Award, which will be presented to up to two faculty members at next year’s Convocation.

While Creighton has various teaching awards across campus, this will be an all-University award that recognizes excellence based on "evidence of effective teaching."

This University teaching award will allow Creighton to model best practices in scholarly teaching, clearly communicate the value of teaching as our core enterprise, and advance our efforts to be more competitive in state and national teaching award programs. Click here for introductory information on the award and nomination process.
